Bruce and Roxanne Haughey contacted us at the start of their project of creating a equine ranch. Their goals were to increase pasture and hay production, using environmentally friendly chemicals and application methods. When we completed an assessment of the condition of the pastures and hay fields we found the following weed infestations: spotted knapweed, canada thistle, houndstongue, tall buttercup, oxye daisy, and wormwood.
We implemented a weed control program and today they are on their way to becoming noxious weed free. We were able to improve grass production on their pastures and hay fields by at least 50%.
